I can't remember if I ever sent you the info on the guy that installed my solar screens or not, so here it is. Apologies if I sent it before and don't remember.
Josh and his wife run the business, and it was affordable and very easy to deal with, installed in under 30 minutes. It has saved me about $100/month on electric bills since I had them put on. In 4 months, they will have paid for themselves, well worth the investment. He also has several color choices and will bring you samples of colors to select before he orders the screens. They have 80% and 90%. The small amount extra that the 90% cost me was well worth it. I asked him to keep my old screens, so that I can replace them when I move out. I just put the old ones in storage. They also minimize the amount that neighbors can see in, and since we're all in such close proximity, that was a plus as well.
I am sure you and your son will benefit from adding these to your house, since the AC units don't seem to cool evenly. The screens reduce some of the stress on the units as well.
Some say a form of flattery is imitation; it seems that I am constantly finding out about businesses (local competitors and others nationally) that attempt to copy my solar screen services business model. Here in town, there are those competitors of mine that I truly believe have my website pulled up 24hrs a day, just waiting to see what specials I run, what new ideas and things I post about our solar screen services so that they can copy them for themselves as their own. All of the time I find other solar screen business websites from all over the country with my original text on them, using my thoughts, my ideas and my expressions, verbatim. Here locally, it seems that just about every one of my competitors are now using my 'discounted' pricing model. Fortunately these same competitors can't closely compete with our pricing structure. Many sites I explore inconceivably use graphics I personally made for use on my website and/or pictures of my personal installations posted on their sites as their own. Some have even used some of our customer feedback (reviews) as their own. To me this isn't flattery, it's an example of one's character. It's character that goes toward one's credibility. It's an example of the difference between someone like us, and others that choose to take shortcuts. A question I would be asking myself if I was a consumer is that if someone is willing to take shortcuts in business practices, can you trust their character? Can you trust they won't take shortcuts with their services and products? My answer to all of them, to all of my competitors that attempt to copy my every step is . . "To my competitors, you can try to copy us, but you will never be able to duplicate our success. Success comes from within. Success comes from who you are.
