Here we have a 3,027‑inch Round Rock solar screens installation where we custom built and installed 33 solar screens for this Round Rock TX solar screens home.
For this Round Rock solar screens project, we installed solar screens on all sides of the home. And, at the customers request, left some of the windows under the back patio uncovered.

The customer said that they did not get all that much sun through their windows under the back patio. So we did not shade those windows with solar screens.
Round Rock Solar Screens installation using our chocolate 80% and 90% solar screen fabric w/ white frame.
We used our chocolate soalr screen fabric with white frame color combination.
On the front of this Round Rock Texas solar screens home, for the windows under the front patio, and there right in the middle, we used our 80 percent solar screen fabric. And then to the right of that, there’s a half circle and two 35 by 71 windows. We put the 90 percent fabric on those three windows there to the right. Those three windows got hit by the brutal afternoon sun.

It’s those three windows to the right that caught quite a bit of the afternoon sun. All the other windows there on the front of the house, there in the middle and to the left under the patio, did not. Those windows did not get the intense afternoon sun, so we did not put the 90 percent fabric on those. However, for uniformity, the homeowner chose to not leave any of these windows uncovered.
I like the following picture, how it shows two 90 percent 35 by 71 Round Rock TX solar window screens and then a 90 percent 58 by 28 half circle solar screen.
What I want you to take a look at are that half circle and those two 35 by 71, 90 percent Round Rock solar window screens. There to the right.
Look how dense they look. Then look at the solar screens to the left and see how you can somewhat see the blinds. Those are made with the 80% fabric.
You can’t see in that well through the 90% fabric during the day. However, you can see through it very well from inside out during the day.
And, here’s a picture to show you what it looks like looking out the 90% solar screen fabric.
It may be just by how I took these pictures. How the light is reflecting off of the fabric from the angle that I’m taking them at that looks like some of these solar screens are very dense. 80s are centered, to the left and 90s are the three to the right.
West side of this solar screens Round Rock TX home got the 90% fabric.
This is a picture of the right side of the house. The right side of this Round Rock Texas solar screens home gets the afternoon sun. So this side of this Round Rock Texas solar window screens home for sure received the 90 percent solar screen fabric.
For this side, you have two 23 by 35 windows that open up and down. You’ve got a 47 by 59 horizontal sliding window. And then you got a 50 by 58 inch window that leads into the bathroom.
No solar screens for the back patio of this Round Rock TX solar window screens home.
This picture is of the back of this Round Rock Texas solar screens home. The customer wanted 90 percent Round Rock solar screens for those three upstairs 47 by 59 windows. Apparently, it’s really hot up. While it’s the upstairs that gets the morning sun, the customer felt like they would benefit from having the 90 percent fabric up there. So we put the 90 percent fabric on those three windows and we used the 80 percent fabric for all the other windows.
Now the customer did not get much sun into the windows, there underneath the patio because, again, it is the morning sun and they just didn’t get much sun in those windows. So they went ahead and left those windows uncovered.
The homeowner did not put solar screens on the back patio windows, but he could have used our outdoor roller blinds. I could have made the homeowners some of our outdoor patio screens out of the same solar window screens fabric that we used to shade their windows.

This is the left side of the house. This is the morning side of the house. The customer wanted the 90 percent fabric on this side of the house, as well as the right side of the house which faces due west.
Now, you’ll see these two 35 by 71 inch windows which are the first ones. Those windows are covered with our 90 percent fabric. Look at how well you can see through that fabric. That you can see the blinds. It’s not solid looking, is it ? And, that’s the 90% fabric.
If you go to my questions and answers page, there’s a section there that talks about outward visibility, looking through solar window screens. I encourage you to go to that page and look at the pictures that I have that show you what it looks like looking through this 90 percent fabric from the inside out. It is considerably different than what this picture is, looking from the outside beyond.
If you look from the inside out during the day with the sun outside and it being darker on the inside, you see through that fabric extremely well. It’s distorted a bot if it’s 90%, but it’s not like you can’t see through the fabric at all. You can see through it so well. People are always worried about that. I just encourage them to go to that questions and answers page, and they’ll see there how well you can see through the fabric. To learn about what it’s like to see through the solar screens during the day and at night, check out this section that covers outward visibility.
