150 Choc/White 28 Solar Screens

*[#3564] Off of Lakeline, Boulevard in Leander, Texas, we did this installation for this customer which involved us installing 28 solar screens.  We completed the installation on June 11, 2013.

This Leander solar screen installation included 28 chocolate solar screens with white framing.

Front of home. 80% Chocolate Suntex Solar Screen fabric with white frame. Notice that that top dormer window has a solar screen on it. That’s an arched window so it cost the customer a little more, but imagine the home without that window covered, the front of this home would have looked un-finished, incomplete. The same could be said for the little non-opening window over the front door, as many people try to leave that window uncovered. Imagine what this home would have looked like if that window was uncovered.

We upgraded 15 of the solar screens to the 90 percent fabric. We did put a solar window screen on every window of this customer’s home to include the front, left, right, and back sides of the home. By looking at these pictures, you will see there is not a single window that is not covered.

These windows did require us to surface mount them using our die‑cast metal clip installation method (see above picture).

The 90 percent solar screens were installed on the back of the home. By looking at the picture below  (I don’t know if you can tell), but those are the 90 percent solar screens.

This side of the home faces due West, therefore we used the 90% solar screen fabric for these windows.

This back patio would have looked nice if it was shaded with two of our patio roller shades Austin TX screens.  A 12′ wide roller shade screen and a 9′ wide roller shade screen would have done the trick.  The cost if they were installed at the same time as the solar screens would have been $588.  Our Austin Texas patio roller shades are awesome, they are very effective at what they do, and they are built very strong, made too last.  And, they are modestly priced.

Using two of our outdoor roll up blinds we could have matched the solar screen fabric that we made the solar window screens out of.

You can see the customer even put a solar screen on their back patio door. Imagine what this picture would have looked like if you did not see a solar screen installed on that back patio door. The back of this home would not have looked clean and uniform.

The installation cost for this entire home was roughly $1,600.
That’s 28 windows for $1,600.
