*[#3540] On Monday, June, the 3rd, 2013, we completed this solar screen installation for this Austin Texas home.
This solar window screen project involved us building a total of 16 solar window screens, totaling 1,443 inches with a total installed cost of $951.37.
The fabric color that we used was our chocolate fabric, and the frame color was brown. The customer’s window frames are brown, so we matched them with the brown solar screen framing.
The customer upgraded four of his solar screens to the 90 percent fabric and four of the solar screens are arches.
The 90 percent solar screens that we installed are located there on the front-right side of the house, two directly above the garage doors (the arch and the 34×60 that opens up and down), and then the two 2nd floor front-left that you can’t hardly see in the above picture. Those are the windows the customer chose to put the 90 percent solar screens on.
Additionally, you’re going to see on the front of this customer’s home, second floor, a little patio there. See how we put a solar screen over that patio door. The home would not have looked very good if he had not put a solar screen on that patio door. He got plenty of sun through the patio door, so it definitely warranted a solar screen.
However, had he chose to not put one on there, aesthetically it would not have looked good.
