118 Two different window frame colors

*[#3512] This is a Georgetown solar screen installation that we did on Friday, May, the 10th, 2013. We installed a total of 1,390 inches.

Front of home, 80% chocolate fabric with tan framing. (3) arches over front door with (2) side light windows to the left and right of front door. Also displayed here are (2) 35×70 side-by-side windows

We installed 17 of our solar screens on this Georgetown Texas home. The fabric color that we used is our chocolate fabric. The customer did not upgrade any of the windows to the 90 percent fabric. He stuck with 80 percent fabric for all of his windows.

Four of the solar screens were arched, so four of the windows had an arch to them (3) arches on the front (above front door) and (1) 1/2 circle window on the back of the home..

This home here had two different colored window frames, meaning the windows themselves were of two different colors. The front of the home, those windows were made with white window frames.

The right side of the house, the left side of the house, and the back of the house, those windows were made using silver window frames. Every now and then, we come across a home like this, and customers will every now and then want to use different colored framing.

Front and right side.

We are not fans of using different color framing on a house. We think that you need to stick with the one color of solar screen framing for the whole house. It looks cleaner, and ties the whole house together better.

Chocolate fabric with tan frame. The window frame color is silver. Look how good the tan frame looks installed on to/within this silver framed window.

Now, take a look at this tan framed screen above over the silver framed window, -does that not look good.  It looks so much better than had we used a silver framed solar screen.

The tan frame really makes this home look good. We could have used a brown frame but the brown frame would have really jumped out at you and not looked as good as this tan.  Brown would have been a strong and stark look, or we could have used the white framing because the customer does have some white in his home, not too much, but he does have some white. The white would have been out of place, the tan was just a perfect subtle look.

This is a really pretty installation.

Back of home. One of our Austin patio sun shades would have been nice for this back patio.

Now, about a month later, the customer called us and requested that we come back out and put a solar screen sliding door and pocket on the back patio of which we subsequently did for him.
